In addition to a normal stereo audio output (which doubles as a headphone jack), there are separate outputs for each voice. There is also an auto- tune function which constantly tunes notes not played in the last 30 seconds. It can also be used as a 3-voice duophonic stack. The superstak mode allows two or more sounds stacked to create a thick monophonic sound. The last mode arpeggiates notes in the order they were played. It is switchable between up, down and assignable. There is a tape interface for storing patches and sequences.Ī very flexible arpeggiator with latch and transpose is included. ![]() Unfortunately there is no memory for user sequences, only 4 pre-programmed demos. The MT features a 1600-note sequencer with quantizing and a metronome. Each voice can be programmed to one of the 100 internal patches and played via an external keyboard/ sequencer as a separate monophonic synthesizer. Known examples include: Sequential Circuits Prophet 5, Prophet 10,2191 Prophet 600, Six-Trak, Multitrak, MAX, and Split-8 MemoryMoog six-voice. Programming the Multi-Trak is done with a single knob and a 4x10 matrix of parameter buttons. There is a built-in chorus with controls for rate and depth. ![]() Available waveforms are square and triangle. All original patches, and no I don't have them to sell. Multi-Trak's LFO can be routed to the VCO, the VCF and pulse width modulation. Short thing I threw together of my 1985 Sequential Circuits (SCI) Multitrak that I recently sold. Apart from the VCA, they can be inverted. In each voice the VCO, VCF and VCA have their own ADSR envelope generators. Controls for cut-off and resonance are available with 3 modes for key-follow modulation. The resonant VCF can be modulated by the VCO. There are controls for coarse/ fine tuning and glide. The VCO's waveform is switchable between sawtooth, triangle and pwm. They contain a VCO, a VCF, a VCA, and an LFO. The Multi-Trak uses a CEM 3394 chips for each voice. ![]() Tuesdays are "Synth Potluck" - where we will feature neat and assorted synths by manufacturers who do not have their own featured day.A 6- voice multitimbral analog synthesizer with a 61- note velocity sensitive keyboard. Synthfind features a particular synth manufacturer on each day of the week. ”Ĭlick here to search for synths on eBay Categories MultiTrak, Sequential Circuits The aftertouch has the perfect sensitivity. Works as a great controller for other synths. Sounds soooooo good! For a vintage synth you’ll only find this kind of feature in the CS-80 or Rhodes Chroma to my knowledge. This is the most expressive keyboard ever! The aftertouch is poly-aftertouch, so each key has individual modulation instead of channel aftertouch like most other keyboards where it affects all voices the same at once. One of the original knobs is also missing it’s silver cap, so it’s just pure black. and the silk screening has rubbed off in some places along with some paint on the back.Īlso, two of the original knobs were missing, so I replaced them with similar looking knobs. Physically it is a bit worn looking The wood side panel has a large chip on the corner as you can see in the photos. Everything else works perfectly but it is old, so it is being sold as is, no returns. “Tunes up, and all of the keys work great, including the velocity/aftertouch. ” Click here to visit listing on eBay Categories MultiTrak, Sequential Circuits all the buttons function perfectly – see the video below which shows that issue.Įven though this looks to be in great working condition, I haven’t a clue how to test all the myriad of features so am selling this as is only as I am not a keyboard geek.Īlso comes with original soft case, which has stains on it. probably just needs a screw tightened inside on that section of circuit board. The circuit board that the buttons in the “Track” section are connected is loose, just on the left hand side, so when you press the buttons, they sink down a bit. Good cosmetic condition and all the keys play and register nicely. This comes with the original power supply which has been modified with its own off and off switch – not sure why as the switch on the keyboard works just fine. This is from around 1985, and have a video below playing it and seems to play great. “See below for youtube link for video on this synth! ![]()
